The Victorious Secrets hopes to a) address the challenges we face as we mature and b) offer words of wisdom to help us over those hurdles.

A victorious secret is simply a bit of knowledge, experience or insight which lead you to victory--or if you failed, it is the lesson you learned that will grant you valuable foresight in the future.  

It is a "secret" not because it is a I-slept-with-your-boyfriend-confession; rather, it is a revelation that will help you lead a life that is better each day. It is the secret to success, the secret to a healthy relationship, the secret to lasting friendships, the secret to being financially stable, the secret to staying healthy...etcetera...you get the point, right?

OUR LIVES, I propose, are more like video games than boxes of chocolates. Sure, "ya never know whatcher gonna git," but along the way, we navigate through the scenes in which we find ourselves, all the while trying to secure success, evade enemies and basically keep our asses alive. We face daunting missions and we take daring literal-and-figurative leaps of faith and fortitude (clinging only to hope that we'll land safely on the other side); we decipher codes and unlock passwords; our skills are sharpened and the scope of our wisdom widens; we find hidden passages and buried treasures; we encounter great friends and great foes; we battle enemies; we experience fun, fear and frustration. Life is a game, people. The test is how the hell we decide to play it. 

As we master the levels of this..."video game of life," we come away from our experiences with these victorious secrets. They are the secrets we learned in each level that make us better equipped to understand past levels and better prepared to conquer the next.
